Our goal is to help provide Autism support for one local family at a time. Helping find the missing piece to give back to the families through financial resources and make them whole.

We knew our boys were different from the start as most families of Autism Spectrum Disorder kids will tell you. Our pediatrician told us we needed to mourn the way we “thought” it was going to be and embrace our new life. We were young parents with no experience with twins or knowledge of Autism.

We could see:

• awkward reactions to strangers
• not meeting their developmental milestones
• lack of social interaction
• proper speech patterns
• meltdowns due to their sensory issues

For years, we stumbled around looking for ways to help. We used our private insurance and referrals from our doctors to find specialists. However, even using that insurance, OT, PT, Speech Therapies, ABA therapies and now CBT is not always 100% covered. For some families, most or all of it is not covered. We understand and feel for these families.

We joined in on raising money for the corporations that do research. We just didn’t feel like we were making an impact. So we decided to create a community and to promote awareness. We started out on Facebook. We did this by gathering information and sharing our story through anecdotes and stories for families and the public. It took us a year; we’ve gone through the correct channels to be able to launch our Non-Profit organization. Now, we introduce you to our actual Charitable Organization of Puzzle Pieces Squared, Inc.
